Established in 1994, SAfAIDS is a regional non-profit organisation based in Pretoria, South Africa with two other country offices in Lusaka Zambia and Harare, Zimbabwe. With support from local partners, SAfAIDS currently implements its programmes in Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe

SADC Council of NGOs
The SADC Council of NGOs was formed in 1998 to facilitate meaningful engagement of the people of the region with SADC Secretariat at regional level, and with the Member States at national level through national NGO umbrella bodies.

The Southern African NGO Network (SANGONeT) was founded in 1987. Over the past 23 years it has developed into a dynamic civil society organisation with a history closely linked to the social and political changes experienced by South Africa during its transition to democracy.
REPONGAC- Réseau des plates-formes d'ONG des pays d'Afrique centrale
Le REPONGAC, Réseau des plates-formes d'ONG des pays d'Afrique centrale, est actuellement en cours de création. La rencontre de Brazzavile, en mars 2008, peut en être considérée l'événement fondateur. Parmi les PFN ciblées pour être membres du REPONGAC, on compte les PFN d’ONG des pays suivants : RCA, Burundi, Rwanda, Tchad, Cameroun, Angola, RD Congo, Sao Tomé et Principe, Guinée Equatorial, Gabon (10 pays).
REPAOC - Réseau des Plates-Formes d’ONG d’Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre
Le REPAOC est le Réseau des Plates-Formes d’ONG d’Afrique de l’Ouest et du Centre. Ce réseau est aujourd’hui constitué de 10 Plates-formes Nationales d’ONG (Bénin, Burkina Faso, Cap-vert, Gambie, Guinée, Mali, Niger, Sénégal, Tchad et Togo) regroupant au total plus de 800 ONG locales, nationales et internationales.
People for Peace in Africa (PPA)
The main objective of the People for Peace in Africa (PPA) is to work towards promoting pace and reconciliation in the region through empowerment of people at the grassroots. The organization aims to integrate the African traditions in peacemaking and use the modern ways of mediation to ensure a conflict free Africa.
Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA)
PACJA undertakes activities that, primarily, seek to advocate, lobby and create awareness on the urgent need to integrate climate change into laws, policies and practices in broader sustainable development and poverty reduction strategies in African countries.
Forum for African Women Educationalists
FAWE is a pan-African Non-Governmental Organisation working in 32 African countries to empower girls and women through gender-responsive education.
East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Project/Network
The East and Horn of Africa Human Rights Defenders Project (EHAHRDP) seeks to strengthen the work of human rights defenders (HRDs) throughout the region by reducing their vulnerability to the risk of persecution and by enhancing their capacity to effectively defend human rights.
