CANGO is an umbrella organization of over 70 Non Governmental Organizations in Swaziland. This organization was founded in 1983 initially as a Coordinating Secretariat for NGOs involved in the promotion of primary health care under the name: The Coordinating Assembly of Non Governmental Organizations in Primary Health Care. In 1987, the constitution was amended to enable this organization to encompass all NGOs in development, thus becoming a true National Umbrella body for all NGOs
